Cook Bacon

Cook bacon, then add peppers, celery, onions, & garlic. Season, then add beans.

Add Beans

Stir black-eyed peas, then add ham hock, broth, and bay leaves and bring to a boil

Simmer

Reduce heat, then let the beans simmer until cooked but not mushy.

Let Cool, Then Serve
