Bake your favorite cornbread recipe - either sweet.

Cook Italian Sausage in a skillet over medium heat.

Break the sausage into small pieces.

Once it is cooked, drain off the grease and set it off to the side.

Melt butter in the same skillet over medium heat.

Remove foil and bake for another 5 - 10 minutes.

Once the cornbread is cooled off enough to handle, crumble it into a
large
bowl.

Add the drained sausage to the bowl.
(I changed bowls because the first one was too small.)
Add cooked celery & onions to the bowl, along with any butter left in the pan.

Pour the mixture into a 9x13 baking dish & spread it out.

In a small bowl, whisk spices, cream of chicken soup, & broth.

Pour the soup mixture over the cornbread.

Bake the cornbread dressing at 350°F for 30 - 35 minutes.
