Sweet Potato Casserole with Pecan Praline Topping

Begin by preheating the oven to 350°F.

Peel sweet potatoes and drain excess liquid.

Share some with the dog.

Stir the potatoes & press down a little to press out liquid.

Share more with the dog.

Melt butter, then mix in potatoes.

Combine egg, sugar, honey, milk, and vanilla and mix.

Mix into the potatoes.

Blend to get the potatoes velvety smooth.

Add the vanilla extract that you forgot.

Spread into a baking dish.

So smooth.

Make the topping - melt butter and brown sugar.

Stir until melted.

Add flour and oats.

Then mix in chopped pecans.

Spread topping over the potatoes.

Bake uncovered for 35 minutes.

It smells so good!

Remove and enjoy!

So perfect!
