While there are no beignets quite like the beignets at Cafe du Monde in New Orleans (okay, maybe Cafe Beignet is a close second!) you can also make delicious beignets at home! From shortcut biscuit beignets to Nutella stuffed beignets – I recommend trying them ALL.

Biscuit Beignets are fluffy little pillows of fried biscuit dough. They are crispy and golden brown on the outside and soft and tender on the inside – then lightly dusted with powdered sugar.

These classic New Orleans Beignets are inspired by the Disney Parks recipe and are soft, pillowy, and dusted with sweet powdered sugar. Make homemade Princess and the Frog beignets from scratch using this easy recipe, and enjoy them with breakfast, brunch, or dessert with a warm mug of coffee!

African Beignets, also known as mikate in Congo, puff-puff in western Africa, are a very popular dessert/snack in Africa. These beignets come with a mango sauce with mint leaves. They are so delicious; I could eat them at any time of the day. Contrary to New Orleans beignets, the mikate are made with just flour and sugar, which are dipped and fried later on.
