What Does Chick-Fil-A Sauce Taste Like?

Chick-Fil-A sauce is a tangy sauce that tastes like someone spilled barbecue sauce in a vat of creamy honey mustard. The sauce tastes a little sweet, a little tangy, & a little smoky.

  • Barbecue Sauce – I have made this using Sweet Baby Rays Original barbecue sauce and using Homemade Barbecue Sauce (the homemade sauce has a smokier taste.) If you want to increase the smoky flavor of your sauce, you can add a splash of liquid smoke.
  • Honey You can use any kind of honey for this recipe.
  • Mayonnaise Make sure to use real mayonnaise. I usually use Blue Plate, Hellmann’s original, or Duke’s Mayonnaise.
  • Yellow Mustard I use the regular old Heinz Yellow mustard or store-brand yellow mustard for this recipe.
  • Lemon Juice
  • Garlic Powder
