What in the world is a Hot Chocolate Bomb? A hot chocolate bomb is a chocolate sphere, filled with hot cocoa, marshmallows, and different fun surprises. All you need are some sphere molds, some chocolate candy melts, hot cocoa mix(this one is organic) but sometimes I just go for the reliable Swiss Miss), mini-marshmallows, and an afternoon to explore your creativity!
Hot Chocolate Bombs became popular because of a TikTok video, but remain popular, because.. who doesn’t love a bath bomb for their hot milk? There is even a Baby Yoda Hot Chocolate Bomb! We like to make so many versions of these – Snowmen, Grinch, and Christmas themed – or peanut butter, salted caramel, and peppermint flavored.
Homemade hot cocoa bombs also make adorable Christmas gifts and are really fun to make!

These are all AMAZING! Here’s a challenge for anyone who has friends or family members with diabetes. How do you make a Hot Cocoa Bomb that’s diabetic friendly! I’m playing with carob and cocoa powder and cocoa butter but so far, it’s just not quite right! It’s early in my adventure so I’m hoping I or someone can come up with a fun alternative for diabetics to enjoy hot cocoa bombs!
