Quick & Easy Dill Pickles

Dill pickles are so easy to make & we love them!

You'll need cucumbers, garlic, dill, onions, sugar, salt, coriander seeds, mustard seeds, water, & white vinegar.

The first step is to salt the cucumber slices in a strainer over a bow to pull out excess moisture. Pat dry with a towel.

To a pot, add the water.

Then add the distilled white vinegar.

Then add kosher salt to the brine.

Then add the sugar to the brine.

Then add mustard and coriander seeds.

Give the pickle brine a stir.

Then let it come to a boil.

While the brine boils, in a heat-safe bowl, add the onions.

Then add garlic.

Then add the dill.

Then finally, add the cucumbers.

Give the cucumbers a toss and mix them up.

Once the brine has come to a boil, pour it over the cucumbers.

Give this a stir to get all the pickles covered in brine.

The pickles look perfect!

Put a small glass bowl on top to submerge the pickles in brine until they cool to room temperature.

Once the pickles have cooled you will see that the color has changed, move them to a jar.

Pour all of the brine over the pickles.

Make sure there is enough brine to cover the pickles in the jars.

Mmm smells good! Even Melly is intrigued!

Move the pickles to the fridge and enjoy!
